Because I love Him. I love Him more than anything, more than anyone. I have loved Him since the first moment I met him, in the foyer of the country church, in Cable WI. I no more than walked in to that place and my tears flowed, and all I could say was, “He is here. He is here. I can feel Him, He is here.” I met Him there that day, and I have been meeting Him anew everyday since then.
JESUS
He gave me life. He gave me hope. He set me free from all I had done, who I had become and He made me new. He made me His. Love. He gave me untainted, unearned, unmerited, unconditional, not dependent on me in any way, love and acceptance, right then, in my mess, as I was, raw and hurting, loved. Completely, fully, nothing held back, loved. I have never known a love like this before.
JESUS
I couldn’t get enough. Study my bible, join every bible class available, start a small group in our home to share His love with others, teach Sunday school. I just couldn’t get enough of His love. I just drank it in and out if flowed. My life was no longer mine, but His. I was hopelessly in love and would do anything for Him for the rest of my life.
JESUS
He is the reason we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28). For He so loved me, loved you, loved us all, that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life. (John 3:16). He gave His sons life for me. That’s why. That’s why I have offered my life back to Him. To thank Him. I am bought with the price of the life and blood of His Son, Jesus. I am set free! Yet I choose to be a slave to Christ every day of my life.
Yaweh. God. Father.
He came. He came that all would have life and have it to the full (John 10:10). ALL. He came that ALL would have life. I have life because Christians came to America. They left their land, their homes, their families and risked their lives to bring the gospel here. Jesus came. He brought truth and life. He is truth and life. They came. They came bringing truth and light. Now I have life and the light of Jesus.
JESUS. LIGHT. LIFE.
Go therefore (Go as Jesus went) and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:16). He came. He said, I will go. Isaiah said, “I will go send me” (Isaiah 6). My heart cries out, I will go send me!!! As He went, so I shall Go! He is my life. I owe Him my life. I lay down my life. For His glory. For His Name.
JESUS
Why? Because He loved me first. (1 John 4:19). There are people that He loves all over Uganda. His children that he loves. He died for them. He came for them. They deserve to know they are loved. They need to know they are loved. They are accepted, set free! A beautiful women, left her family to move to Cable, WI. She is the reason I walked into that church. She left what she knew for me. Now it is my turn. Wherever He leads. They need to know.
JESUS
He has no favorites. No one means more than anyone else. Time is ticking. Lives are fading. People dying who don’t know Jesus. Why? Why don’t they know? Why? Matthew 9:38. “Pray to the Lord of the harvest that He might send workers out into the harvest fields, for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” The question shouldn’t be why? Why are you going? Why would you? It should be where? Where am I to go? Who am I to go to? The going should just be. Normal. Expected. Not the exception. Not extraordinary. Ordinary.
JESUS
Let us not ask why? But let us ask where? Who? Then do as He did. Go. We only have one life to live for Jesus. Some day when my time is finished here and my life has faded like the morning dew, you may find what remains of me, and a stone resting above reading these words. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2Timothy 4:7) I will be running into my Father’s arms, as we welcomes my home, a daughter, loved, for all eternity. It will all be worth it! Worth Jesus! Worth my Father, Yaweh! Worth the Holy Spirit. Worth eternity.
LOVE. GOD IS LOVE.
Go. Everyone needs to know they are loved. Go. Go tell them. Show them. Jesus is the good news. The best news. Go. Share the news to the ends of the earth. Where He calls you. Where you are at. Right now. Tell everyone they are loved by their Father and set free by His son. Go! To your neighbor. To your family. To your friends. To your coworkers. To strangers. To the ends of the earth. Go. Share the love and truth of Jesus.
JESUS
Where? Who? Normal. Expected. Ordinary. Just living for Jesus.
